Delicious simplicity.
Glazed ceramic jar, in honeyed white color, turned and enameled by hand with the original blends. The color tones vary slightly because each piece is dipped by hand, how it was originally done. This makes each piece unique.
It can be used as a liquid container, for flowers or as a sculptural piece. Original hand-turned cork stopper included. Traditionally, its function was to serve and maintain whiskey.
We use ecological and sustainable raw materials, with which we ensure the care of the environment. Shipments are made with reused cardboard, which comes from another local business.

About Cerámica Roca Caus
Verdú's black pottery is a mark of artisanal quality in the plain of Catalonia in general. Thus, shapes and colors take us to previous times, from the Medieval Era. This was especially important before the advent of running water. The Roca Caus Ceramics workshop has a long, centuries-old tradition, based on the manufacture of the traditional Verdú Black Jugs and has been passed down from parents to children to this day. We use the old “Moorish type” ceramic oven that dates back to 1730. The technique of finishing our ceramic directly in the flame is ancient. The cooking time is quite long, approximately 50 hours. In 2022, we set up a solar panel installation with a power of 8 KW that covers all electrical needs. Making our workshop cleaner and greener for the environment
