This artwork by Seraphina Neville was created through her signature collaging process; it entails cutting and arranging paper to create a collage sketch, digital design, and finally, a finished physical piece. The print captures the texture, shadow and depth of paper used by the artist, as well as the tactile, balanced compositions Seraphina is known for. For this considered piece, she takes inspiration from her environment. “Seasons are a running theme through this series! When we first discussed this project, it was Springtime & I was looking ahead to the Summer when thinking about colour choices & theme ideas. It was Autumn by the time I was working on the final artworks & this had a big influence on the direction they ended up taking - especially with the moodier colours & leafy shapes.
